Mansfield on the Manning is a Rural Retreat located in a beautiful valley on the Manning River. Situated just three hours north of Sydney, Mansfield on the Manning is the ideal place to retreat from the hectic pace of the city.

Mansfield is a 20 acre property that has been extensively planted with local species, which have attracted an abundance of birds and wildlife to the property. The property faces north and overlooks the Manning River, with easy access for fishing, boating, swimming, and other water activities.

Mansfield is a quiet and peaceful retreat and yet is only 10 minutes to shops, clubs, and restaurants, and 15 minutes to pristine beaches. There is plenty of things to do in the district, including bush walking on forest trails and in the local national parks, horse riding, and other activities, all without the crowds you may find at other holiday destinations.

Mansfield has only 2 cottages which were completed in 1999. They are constructed from north coast hardwoods with a pitched ceiling and solar passive design. The cottages have featured in 'The Non-Conventional Homes Tour' for the three years. We sourced windows, doors and floor boards from recycled building suppliers so as to give the new cottages an 'old country' feel to them.

The cottages are ideal for a couple or a family with several children. The main bedroom contains a queen bed and ensuite bathroom, with a loft area above also for sleeping. The main room has all you need to prepare and cook your meals including a microwave oven and cooktop, fridge and all utensils for cooking. The furnishings are in keeping with the 'country' look, with some antiques, and are appealing and comfortable.

Mansfield is pet friendly. So bring your dog and they will have a great time as well.
