Property and Gardens

Our 16 magnificent acres on the bank of the Manning River, provide endless opportunity for fun and relaxation. The huge lawn areas are ideal for kids and pets. Running, games of cricket, footy or even simple chasies, can provide hours of entertainment. In addition, we have a beautiful bocce court with a deck that has the most amazing river and district views. A table tennis table and yard games round out the activities. 

Then there is the pool. We have just installed a new heated guest swimming pool with plenty of room for relaxing, either on the daybeds, under the umbrellas, or cooling off in the water.

You can also wander through the orchard, collect macadamias from under the trees in the drive, or pick fresh herbs from the garden. The afternoons are a great time to sit on the deck on our lagoon and watch the waterbirds come in for landing.

Each cabin/ cottage has its own firepit. Firewood is provided and, subject to fire restrictions, you can sit under the stars in the evening and toast marshmallows.

We have an array of local wildlife that moves through our property. The most obvious is the birdlife that can be seen and heard throughout the day and sometimes at night. We also have  a few wallabies that wander through most evenings, as well as koalas, bandicoots and a lace monitor or two. Dolphins are spotted in the river from time to time and we have enjoyed a paddle on the kayaks alongside them.
